In 2009 – 2010, ladies watches were just another item of costume jewellery. They sold well, and women bought them as they would buy a necklace or bracelet. But that fashion is now gone – for the time being at least. Watches do still sell, but not in the volumes of previous years. Women are more likely to splash out on a new necklace today than on a colourful watch.

What does this mean if you are holding large stocks of ladies watches?

The good news is, men are as clueless about women’s fashion today as they have always been. With Christmas around the corner – one of the two times of the year when men are out buying jewellery in earnest – you have an opportunity to offload some of those watches.

To make the most of the Christmas season, you should ensure your watches are well displayed and packaged – make them look like an irresistible gift, and take as much of the decision away from men as possible. And if you happen to have any left over after Christmas, the run up to Valentine’s day will provide the perfect opportunity to offload whatever remains.

Though we could have sourced some more over the past few months, the quality and price were simply not right. Which is why we’re very pleased to be able to offer a completely new range of watches today.

Our latest watches come in a variety of styles and price ranges, from £3.72 to over £7.00. We have 60 lines available, and expect to have more in a few weeks. The time for retailers to be stocking up for Christmas is getting closer, which is why we’re introducing these new watches now.

Ladies Watches

As usual, none of our watches are boxed, which allows us to offer them at very competitive prices, both per item, and on delivery charges. As well as our ladies watches, we have a very small number of Gent’s Expander watches. These designs are old and timeless, and worn by all age groups. We don’t normally stock men’s jewellery, but we thought we’d give these few watches a try, and see how they go.
